Below is all information for ages 5-24.
America’s National Grace State Divisions
Princess: 5-6 years Sweetheart : 7-9 years Preteen: 10-12 years
Jr. Teen: 13-15 years Teen: 16-18 years Miss: 19-24 years
Contestants must be a resident of Georgia to be eligible for North GA, Tennessee resident for Tennessee tiles and North Carolina for Western Carolina titles or be a full time student in that state. Southern States is an open title to contestants in the South Eastern region.
Age divisions will coordinate with our national pageant. Contestants must be between the ages of 5-24 on September 1, 2018. September 1st is the date that will determine the age division that the contestant will compete in at both the state and national pageant. She will compete in the same division for both state and if she qualifies for nationals.

State Title Information
Miss North Georgia Titles will be awarded 1st in each age division and will come from formal wear/onstage introduction and casual wear and interview scores only. Open to Georgia contestants only.
North Georgia Queens will receive a full round crown, trophy, state sash, $100 off her fees to Nationals 2018 and a paid queen’s day trip in July.
Miss Tennessee Titles will be awarded 1st in each age division and will come from formal wear/onstage introduction and casual wear and interview scores only. Open to Tennessee contestants only.
Tennessee Queens will receive a full round crown, trophy, state sash, $100 off her fees to Nationals 2018 and a paid queen’s day trip in July.
Miss Western Carolina Titles will be awarded 1st in each age division and will come from formal wear/onstage introduction and casual wear and interview scores only. Open to North Carolina contestants only.
Western Carolina Queens will receive a full round crown, trophy, state sash, $100 off her fees to Nationals 2018 and a paid queen’s day trip in July.
Miss Southern States Titles will be awarded 2nd in each age division and will come from formal wear/onstage introduction and casual wear and interview scores only. Southern States Queens will receive a full round crown, trophy, state sash, $100 off her fees to Nationals 2018 and a paid queen’s day trip in July.
Required Areas of Competition
Formal Wear: 1/2 of final score
Contestants must wear a floor length pageant dress that is age appropriate. Any color is acceptable. No mid-drift, two piece dresses. Judges will judge on overall first impression, appearance, stage presence and personality. Contestants will be allowed 90 seconds onstage in this event.
Introduction: 1/4 of formal wear score
Contestants will have a short introduction onstage during their formal walks. They will enter the stage and present the intro at the first X which is located in the back. A national queen will hand them the microphone. Introductions must include the following: Name, age and state/region they are competing from. Ex: Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I am Kelly Pittman from North Georgia and I am 22 yrs old. Thank you. (You can make this your own.) Introductions must stay under 15 seconds.
Casual Wear: 1/2 of final score
For this category clothing needs to be off the rack casual. No mid-drifts and no swim suits. There is no theme. Can be any style or color. Wear something that fits your personality. No custom music and no pro-am modeling. Contestants will be allowed 90 seconds onstage in this event.
Optional Areas of Competition
Photogenic: Optional, Photos are due April 13th.
Photogenic photos need to be emailed to Melinda Bell as a jpeg and as an attachment only. firstname.lastname@example.org
Do not email photos from a cell phone. A cell phone changes sizing. Send original large file. Photos may be naturally retouched but must still look like the contestant. No glitz photos. They will be scored by a different set of judges than pageant day judges. Either color or black & white photos are acceptable. Please include contestant’s name and age division in your email. Judges will be looking for clarity, quality, and personality.
Ultimate Billboard Supreme:
The highest scoring photogenic photo will be named the Ultimate Billboard Supreme. The winner will have their winning photo displayed as a billboard poster at the state pageant. There will be one winner from ages 5-12 and one winner from ages 13-24.
Fun Fashion: Optional, Fun Fashion score may replace Casual Wear score.
Contestants are required to compete in Casual Wear but have the option to enter Fun Fashion. If their Fun Fashion score is higher than their Casual Wear score, it may be replaced.
For this category, clothing needs to be runway ready. The outfit can be a cocktail, high-low, etc. No mid-drifts and no swim suits. Wear something that fits your personality. No custom music and no pro-am modeling. Contestants will be allowed 90 seconds onstage in this event.
The stage is a professional theatre wood stage. The entrance to the stage will have stairs up front. They will then proceed to the back of the stage to start their walks. Starting with X(1). The Xs will be a Front T with contestants ending in the front middle X. They will not finish in the back. The emcee will have them exit from the front to the left exit stairs. The back X(1) is where they will say their introductions.

Pageant Entry Fee

Extra Photogenic: $10, 1 photogenic is included in base entry
A contestant can hold her spot in the pageant with a $50 deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non- transferable for this pageant. Deposits are not an extra cost. They come from the entry fee.
Only one discount can be used besides the referral discounts. (Ex: Sibling discount cannot be combined with a coupon received from another pageant. She can however refer friends and use those discounts on top of her other discount.)
Sibling Discount: Second sibling receives $20 off
Referral Discount: $25 off each referral entered

We do not have a host hotel, but there are a few options for you.
Score Sheets may be picked up at the registration table at the end of awards.
Any items left cannot be mailed.
NO PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED WHILE CONTESTANTS ARE ONSTAGE
Carrie Abernathy will be taking multiple photos of all contestants during the pageant.
