Miss Southern Grace State - Virtual Photogenic Pageant

Contestants must be between the ages of 3-18 on September 1, 2021. 

September 1st is the date that will determine the age division that the contestant will compete in at both the state and national pageant. She will compete in the same division for both state and if she qualifies for nationals.

By participating in the state pageant, you acknowledge, accept and agree to abide by all rules posted on our website. You also agree to all state title holder requirements.

- Must have 6 or more contestants per age division to award both titles. Southern Grace State will be awarded first as the top title.

Miss Southern Grace State Queens will win their official State Crown and State Sash to Nationals 2021. They will also receive $200 off their entry to Nationals 2021.

Miss South Eastern State Queens will win their official State Crown and State Sash to Nationals 2021. They will also receive $150 off their entry to Nationals 2021.

Both state titles will come from 1 Photogenic Headshot plus 1 Stage Shot top scoring photos. 

Photogenic Headshot: 1/2 of final score

Photos may be naturally retouched but must still look like the contestant. No glitz photos. Either color or black & white photos are acceptable.  Judges will be looking for clarity, quality, and personality.

Stage Shot: 1/2 of final score

Photos must be taken onstage at any pageant. Does not have to be a Southern Grace Pageant. Photos must have been purchased from the photographer and not taken from their website or social media. They can be from any competition outfit, NOT crowning photos. Formal Wear, Fun Fashion, Casual Wear, etc. Judges will be looking for clarity, quality, and personality.

Photogenic photos need to be emailed to Melinda Bell as a jpeg and as an attachment only. mbell@sgpageants.com. Do not email photos from a cell phone. A cell phone changes sizing. Send original large file. Please include contestant’s name and age division in your email. 

Judging: 

Photos will be scored by a different set of judges than pageant day judges at Nationals. 

Online/Website Photos:

Make sure you are using online etiquette. No bashing or harassing contestants on social media at any time. 

Do not share or take other contestants photos from any online websites or social media.

Awards: 

All awards will be mailed 4-6 weeks after contest ends to give us enough time to receive custom sashes that will fit properly to the queens. Awards will not be mailed until we receive Nationals deposit.

Deadline for final payments: August 1st by Midnight.
All PayPal payments will be charged the 4% PayPal fee.

Contestants will need to complete the registration form, send payment and email photos.
